Ohio’s first music career accelerator dedicated to music creatives has added to its leadership team.
Cincinnati Music Accelerator, based out of Union Hall in Over-the-Rhine, named NaQuia Chante to the newly created position of director of operations.
As DOO, Chante will oversee activities related to CMA programs, services, and partnerships that address music business; professional creative music education; talent employment; mental health and wellness in the musical arts sector and community support systems. She will report to Kick Lee, CMA’s president, and CEO.
NaQuia comes from a background in marketing, talent booking, event production, client management, content development, and creative consultation.
Founded in 2017, CMA is an organization that is dedicated and focused on the development of music creatives, fostering and fueling placemaking and striving for economic development and impact within the community it serves through the musical arts.
