YOUR STARTING POINT FOR SUCCESS

Ages 5-17 | 8 Week Program | 5-7 pm | June - July 2022

WHAT IS MUSIC DEVELOPMENT?

Youth music development is the process any musical creative goes through to develop their craft and skills necessary to build a professional career in the music industry. This means everything from voice, songwriting, image and branding, music and video production, live performance, marketing, and social media.

Artist development in the music industry has changed since the advent of  Spotify, the internet, and social media. The days of being “discovered” by a record label are all but gone, leaving most of the early progress to the artists themselves.

It used to be that the label would find an up and coming talent and develop them within the label. But now this development is left up to the artist, often them leaving them with the question, “Where do I start?”

What does our youth music development program do?

Our Artist Development Program bridges the gap between being a recreational, aspiring musician and becoming a professional by teaching our students what they need in order to create a lucrative, long-lasting career in music.

We help the artist build a commercially viable product, establish a fan base, attain critical music business skills, and create well-produced music and videos.

The Artist Development Program has an established blueprint to music success that includes helping the artist gain:

  • Exceptional vocals, musicianship, and songwriting skills

  • Genuine Performance Ability

  • Image creation and maintenance

  • Plan of action, goal setting

  • Exceptional promotion materials, including photographs, press releases, and artwork

  • Business management skills

  • Marketing, publicity, and promotion knowledge, online and offline

  • Professional Management

  • Knowledge of recording, producing, engineering, and mastering

  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and sales online, and radio airplay.

  • Good choices in members, staff, and advisors

  • Physical and mental preparedness

  • Basic knowledge of finances, accounting

  • Law and legal issues: publishing, copyrighting, and trademarks

  • Bookings and tours locally, nationally, and internationally.

Tending to all areas of your music career may make the difference between a one-hit-wonder and longevity in this business. We are striving to help you become a business just as much as an artist – the music business is a BUSINESS. And it is important that along with traditional music classes you learn how to make it a career by understanding the latest music business trends and opportunities.

You need more than just tips on how to enhance your technique, you need results, and that’s what the Artist Development Program is all about. No matter your specific goals, our instructors bring the firsthand knowledge and experience you need to grow on a grand scale. To learn the ins-and-outs of the business and make headway not only as a singer or an actor but as a complete talent who possess all of the tools they need to get ahead.

The Artist Development Program can help you zero in on all facets of your development and help you navigate the challenges of evolving as an artist, learning about the business, and making the connections you’ll need to advance your goals. The program has a high success rate with quick results, so while you may find that there are a limited number of spaces, spots open up on a steady basis because of our commitment to success and helping students reach their ambitions.
